STEM DAY

November 8 is STEM Day. “National STEM/STEAM Day is celebrated every year on November 8 to encourage kids to explore their interests in science, technology, engineering, arts and math careers.” – US Census. In celebration, we want to introduce you to some of our engineers and show you some behind-the-scenes photographs of a day in the life as an engineer at Continental Refrigerator.

Meet Akhilesh!

The COOLEST part of being an engineer at Continental Refrigerator is not only being able to design refrigeration systems and components but being able to work with manufacturing and then actually testing out his designs!

Akhilesh chose to study engineering because he loved the practical aspect of using science for various applications.

The subject from school that he uses most in his job is Fluid dynamics and Machine design

His favorite part of being an engineer is getting a chance to create stuff that everyone uses or needs.

Meet Inal!

The COOLEST part of being an engineer at Continental Refrigerator is making an impact on people’s lives.

Inal chose to study engineering because he finds it interesting, and also for the financial incentives.

The subjects from school that he uses most in his job are Math, AutoCad, and Engineering Concepts.

One of his favorite parts of being an engineer is getting to see the tangible results of his work out in the world.
